YES! It’s funny how much easier it is to resist the big (unnecessary) spend when you’ve budgeted in an inexpensive pair of shoes! lolol

And you might not need anything else, if you can do the spreadsheet thing. The thing I like about YNAB is, philosophically, it knows we’re not going to be accurate/that we’ll overspend and it’s very “forgiving,” in the way it’s built. So I don’t feel bad when I have to move money around. But that’s probably not a good reason to spend on a product when you have a free product that works for you.

Anyway, it sounds like you’re doing awesome after a bad situation! Good for you!
